In line with projected growth, a restructure of our leadership team has resulted in the opportunity for an Irrigation DevelopmentTeam Leader to join our expanding company.
The Role
As the Irrigation DevelopmentTeam Leader, you will be a key decision maker in the Irrigation division.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and providing assistance and training to other team members.
- Ensure Irrigation projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Daily recording of all works completed on site.
- On site management of company safety system and monitoring of team and worksite to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all tools, plant and equipment are being carefully and diligently looked after.
- Diligently monitor all site operations, ensuring they are completed to the highest quality and meet QA standards.
- Client, contractor and supplier liaison.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will be a motivated self starter with a genuine passion for leading and inspiring others to achieve high quality work outcomes. Your role contributes directly to the overall success of the company.
The following experience and attributes are highly desirable:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar leadership role.
- Experienced in the installation of agricultural irrigation systems, specifically drip irrigation.
- Experienced multi skilled machine operator (excavator, bobcat, trencher, tractor etc.).
- Mechanically minded with experience in basic vehicle and machinery maintenance.
- Be accountable, responsible, and reliable.
- Have a positive outlook and can-do attitude, thriving in a team environment.
- Possess well rounded problem-solving skills and effectively resolve minor issues.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship 100% of the time.
- Hold a HR / HC driver license
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and record keeping skills.
- Technology literate with the ability to operate a Computer/iPad (Outlook, Word, Excel).
