Your new role
Are you looking for the next step in your career and enjoy working outdoors? Our Parks and Streetscapes team is seeking a motivated Team Leader who will supervise day to day gardening and maintenance tasks ensuring all streetscape areas within the Rockhampton Region are maintained to a high standard.
You will update and maintain weekly schedules and ensure regular maintenance and servicing of all relevant equipment and ensure the control of weeds, pests and diseases. You will be able to manage horticultural and arboriculture projects as well as carry out plant propagation.
To be successful in this role you will have experience leading and motivating a team and have good time management, planning and organisational skills that will allow you to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

- Qualification in Horticulture and/or experience within a horticultural environment

- Excellent computer skills with an ability to use multi-platform technologies and software

- Qualifications relating to the following disciplines (Cert III Parks and Gardens, Landscaping, Arboriculture, Greenkeeping etc.) and experience within the horticultural industry.
