About the role
AHP-4
The Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership and operational management of the multi-disciplinary team of Mental Health Triage clinicians to ensure safe, efficient and effective service delivery to consumers and carers within a recovery orientated framework.
The Team Leader is the key position responsible for establishing the direction and functioning of the multi-disciplinary team consistent with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network Mental Health Clinical Program (MHCP) Clinical Business Rules. The position is responsible for the management of service demand and workload allocation, the provision of administrative and clinical support services, monitoring and oversight of service provision, data collection and evaluation.
The Team Leader is responsible for the establishment and sustainment of positive working relationships within the Sector, across MHCP, other government departments and external agencies consistent with a collaborative partnership approach.
RN-3
You will use your clinical knowledge and experience to provide the pivotal co-ordination of consumer care delivery in a consumer care unit / team within the MHCP. The main focus of this role is the line management, coordination and leadership of nursing and / or multi‑disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes. Employees in this role accept accountability for the outcomes of nursing practices and/or multidisciplinary outcomes in the specific practice setting; for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy; and for developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of consumer outcomes.
