About the roleThe role of
Team Leader,
Revenue Operations reports directly to the Manager,
Revenue Operations and has responsibility for the supervision of the
Revenue Operations team. As the
Team Leader you will ensure the accurate and timely generation and dispatch of invoices including debt follow-up and escalation of issues that prevent payment.A regular day will see you:
- Manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the Revenue Operations team including the management of leave requests and timesheets.
- Set performance goals for your team, tracking results and evaluating performance effectiveness.
- Ensure the Revenue Operations team are fully trained in all billing systems and revenue procedures and there is adequate leave coverage within the team.
- Ensure that billing activities are carried out with a high level of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of patient and sundry debtor invoices.
- Implement strategies to expedite the payment of invoices, including monitoring aging reports and following up on overdue accounts.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of month-end financial reports, including coordinating with the Finance team to gather billing data, reconcile accounts, and prepare accurate and timely reports for management review.

- Experience in patient billing in a hospital environment (public or private).
- Demonstrated experience providing leadership/supervision in an environment which deals with high volume queries and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage incoming work with competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- An ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and professionally represent the Women's.
- Ability to identify and propose effective solutions to problems through proactively seeking information needed to resolve work problems.
