- This role requires availability to work between 6am to 7:30pm
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.
- Accountable for overseeing the team's performance to ensure high-quality daily operations in Service Execution. This includes efficient staging and preparation for last mile deliveries and loading operations. The required handover and loading capacities to the Transport Service Provider. And inventory and handling management in compliance with IKEA's applicable frameworks and guidelines.
- Take the lead in identifying, recruiting, retaining, and developing talent within the Service Execution team. With the aim to build a diverse and high-performing team capable of confidently executing their responsibilities and ensuring future talent succession.
- Managing and supporting the day-to-day operations, tasks and co-workers of the Service Execution team including rostering, breaks, and ensuring KPIs are communicated with a clear action plan in order to achieve these collaboratively.
- Ensuring that you and your team possess a safety mindset, working in compliance with the IKEA standard operating procedures, Code of Conduct and local legislation relating to health, safety & security, and the environment.
- Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily Service Execution in order to guarantee and foster a customer-centric mindset within the team and achieve operational excellence.
- Passionate about ensuring we meet our customers in the best way and securing excellence in Service Execution operations, leading your team with a customer centric mindset.
- A people's person, with proven experience leading and developing teams. Ensuring co-workers are supported in their daily work by actively coaching and mentoring your team through set reviews and on the job conversations.
- Sound computer literacy and understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, you are able to build relationships, collaborate and effectively influence and manage internal/external stakeholders to secure a high-performing Service Execution of customer order fulfilment.
- A forward thinker who works calmly under pressure, taking ownership of quick decisions and problem solving.
- Comfortable working a mix of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks. You have the ability to manage high-volumes and enjoy working in a fast paced, vibrant, and changing omnichannel environment.
