About the role
Mercy Community Disability Service is seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader – Support Coordination to lead a passionate team of Support Coordinators and Specialist Support Coordinators. This is a Permanent Full-Time position based across both Ipswich & Toowoomba (you will work across both locations each week).
This role is responsible for leading and managing a team of Support Coordinators and Specialist Support Coordinators who are dedicated to making a difference and enabling greater independence across all domains of a participant’s life.
$102,554 - $107,079 annually (SCHADS L6) plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available
What you’ll be doing
As a Support Coordinator, your key duties will include:
- Lead, engage and guide a team of Support Coordinators and Specialist Support Coordinators
- Implement and support continuous improvement initiative tasks to maximise program growth, quality, outcomes, and customer experience
- Support and advocate for participants in accordance with their NDIS plan and within the NDIS guidelines/framework
- Complete case notes, reports and plan reviews within the NDIS framework/guidelines
- Advocate and build partnerships with stakeholders and external providers
About you
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
- Relevant qualifications with the Disability, Health or Community field (desirable but not essential)
- Experience and understanding of NDIS (desirable but not essential)
- Prior experience managing and supporting teams within the disability sector, health or Community field (desirable but not essential)
- Hold a current Queensland blue Card (or willing to apply)
- Hold a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply)
- Hold a current Queensland Drivers Licence and have your own vehicle (mandatory)
