Language Services at Monash Health
Monash Health Language Services (MHLS) is an integrated service providing interpreting and translating services to inpatients and outpatients across Monash Health.
Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing the largest in-house language service team in the state.
About the Role
The Team Leader supports the Manager Language Services to lead the Language Services team.
The Language Services Team Leader is responsible for ensuring staff are provided with high quality supervision, professional development and considered and responsive policies, procedures and processes. The role supports the Language Services Manager in leading workforce innovations and facilitating change to meet organizational needs providing an exemplary Language Service. This role has shared operational responsibilities for all Language Services staff, systems and processes across all Monash Health Sites with a portfolio focus. Travel between all sites is required.
About You
You are a Team Leader with leadership capability, preferably extensive knowledge of the language services provision and experience in administration management. Through coordinating the high performing Language Services team, you will be an integral part in provision of service to Monash Health’s cultural and linguistically diverse patients.
What you need:
Certificate IV in Business Administration Studies or equivalent
Current Victorian driver’s license
Highly developed interpersonal, customer service, leadership skills and excellent problem solving skills.
