About the role
DXC Claims Management is excited to commence operations in NSW partnering with icare to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers in New South Wales.
With over 20 years of experience in workers compensation claims management, a unique opportunity exists to join a new DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.
The Claims Team Leader will manage a team of claims management and support personnel to achieve processing, quality, return to work and customer service objectives. The Claims Team Leader will be a member of the DXC People Management team and contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage people leaders and their direct reports (including, but not limited to, case managers, injury management specialists, technical specialists, and administrators)
- Monitor team performance against key performance indicators and develop performance improvement strategies as required
- Help manage the relationship between the DXC claims team and icare stakeholders
- Advocate customer-focused solutions to business problems
- Develop strategies designed to optimise existing claims processes and outcomes
- Provide expert stakeholder management and subject matter expertise to the business
- Conduct research, modelling, forecasting, measuring and reporting to support business decisions required for proposed solutions
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience (ideally within the NSW worker's compensation claims space).
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
