Team Manager – Return to Work Specialists

The primary purpose of this role is to provide structured team leadership to support business objectives, ensuring service levels, customer expectations and regulatory obligations are met for the related business area/s.
The Team Manager oversees the delivery of Allianz Return to Work Specialist Program as delivered through and a group of Return to Work Specialists. The role has approximately 10 direct reports.
You'll be responsible for:
Achieve individual KPI’s and targets as established within individual business unit and monitor team performance through system reporting tools.
Collaborate with team to develop strategies to achieve appropriate outcomes as required within the business ensuring adherence to relevant legislative requirements.
Ensure customer expectations and business objectives are met by maximising team performance through effective management, and continuous improvement of business process.
Ensure regulatory timeframes and requirements are met by maintaining up-to-date awareness of changes that may impact AAL and ensuring compliant process application and workflow.
Develop customer relationships by seeking to understand customer requirements, anticipating and recommending solutions and ensuring team cohesion, providing a positive customer experience.
Manage internal relationships, modelling team collaboration in resolving issues within and across teams, providing direction and support when escalated for optimal resolution and results.
Maximise the performance of staff through, comprehensive target setting, provide regular performance feedback, promote a high-performance culture and implement appropriate reward and recognition.
Identify and implement training needs to build team performance in the achievement of targets relating to quality and compliance measures, documenting, and communicating quality/other reviews and records.
Important to your success:
Experience within Workers Compensation environment.
Strategically led mindset with the initiative to drive high performing outcomes.
Demonstrated ability of mentoring/coaching and people management skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Familiarity with MS Office products and ACCtion.
