As a Team Manager in our Payment Assist space at Red Energy, you'll be responsible for leading and developing a team within our expanding debt collection area. Your leadership and influencing skills will guide and support our awesome team members who are paramount to the success of our business and the assistance we provide our customers. At Red Energy, our people are our number one priority!
Alongside empowering your team, we encourage and promote our Team Managers to consider, plan and manage commercial strategies. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks to deliver optimal outputs, this involves analysing the mechanics of the team and the business, finding ways to leverage our agile environment and gain maximum productivity.
To excel in this role, you'll need to work closely with internal and external parties to align our operations with our business goals. Building strong relationships with stakeholders is key to ensure there are no knowledge or communication gaps. It's all about managing risks for the business and making sure we develop collections strategies to minimise revenue loss.
This is a complex and challenging role, but if you're commercially savvy, operationally strong, and have excellent people management skills, you'll thrive in it. We're looking for someone with at least three years of people management experience, and while experience in the energy industry is preferable, it's not essential. What's really important is your ability to balance commerciality with a great customer experience, work collaboratively and independently, and have a strong customer focus.
