Your new role
• Maintain and improve end-user systems following architecture principles, business requirements and client needs.
• Produce and maintain IT assets and configuration documentation through their life cycle to ascertain they contribute in an optimal way to the IT services and are accounted for.
• Experience with IT components and terminology especially as it relates to the end-user computing environment, software and hardware inventory, software packaging and imaging.
• Identify and mitigate risks to performance, security, continuity, and availability of end-user systems, and resolve significant technical issues, including testing, to assist the service desk in providing effective customer and end-user support.
• Contribute to developing technical solutions and their guiding strategy and collaborate with stakeholders, including suppliers, to realise improvements and optimise the operational environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain tools and process for delivery of approved software to desktop systems.
• Maintain research, configuration, and operational documentation, and share knowledge about solutions and services proactively.
• Monitor, record, and report on the development and operation of end-user systems.
• Use the IT Change control process to execute all changes remotely, including standard and emergency changes procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
• Tertiary qualification in an Information Technology related field with relevant experience or a less formal qualification with substantial experience working within a medium-sized corporate environment.
• Experience in the development, delivery, administration and maintenance of end-user systems.
• Operational knowledge and expertise in end-user systems.
• Current valid Victorian driving licence.
