Our Technical Services Department currently has a vacancy for a Technical Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
As the Technical Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for working across all functions of the Technical Services area which includes Consumer Repairs, Shop Counter Service and Orders, Accounting, Remanufacturing, Spare Parts Processing, Reverse Logistics Orders and Calibration, test, and check logs.

Key requirements for the role include:
Strictly adhere to all Technical Services daily, weekly, and monthly calibration, test and check processes and maintain the relevant logbooks.
Perform consumer product repairs to strict procedures and processes by; preparing accurate and detailed quotations, performing repairs or replacement of faulty components or product, thoroughly testing, and checking product after repair completion and quality checking repairs performed by other team members.
Serving customers in the Shop over the counter for consumer repairs, staff orders, spare parts orders, instruction booklets, and accepting payment and processing receipts.
Collecting, recording, and filing all payments, transactions, and receipts for counter service.
Perform department refurbishment/remanufacturing processes as directed.
Diagnosing fault/damage with product and repairing that product according to the relevant Nintendo procedures; replacing worn or damaged components; and thoroughly testing product with test equipment provided, to the manufacturing standard.
Maintain the departments spare parts processes to ensure product orders are filled and despatched regularly.
Maintain the departments incoming RLO batches by timely processing each month.
To succeed in the role, you will require:
Diploma or above in electronics/computer systems engineering or similar.
Related experience in electronics repair or manufacturing environments.
Intermediate knowledge and operation of computers and related systems.
High level of attention to detail and dexterity.
