The Role
The position will support Origin’s emerging Security (Cyber) strategy in an Information Protection Business Analyst position as well as managing the delivery of Information Protection Project scope and deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
- This role requires 30% Project Managing responsibilities and 70% Business Analyst responsibilities
- Planning and managing project team’s activities and deliverables
- Providing project status update to Steering Committee and Project Sponsor
- Scheduling and chairing regular project meetings and agile ceremonies
- Managing costs and adherence to project budgets
- Identification and management of project risks, issues and dependencies
- Managing Project Sponsor and Information Protection Services lead's requirements for the project and beyond
- Gathering, capturing, and analysing the project/business requirements
- Delivering a Business Impact Assessment of planned changes and propose approaches to support organisational change management and minimise business process disruption.
- Developing and execution of communication plans applying sound organisational change management practices
- Working within a team environment and supporting Technical Lead/Solution Architect and other team members
- Cutover, Transition and Stabilisation planning
To be considered for the role you have the following background and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Business Information, or related field or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of project management standards and procedures
- Strong business analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in Cyber Security, in particular information protection
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Tooling (MFA/CAP) Including Azure Active Directory platform
- High levels of conceptual reasoning skills
- Stakeholder management
- Experience with Microsoft Information Protection, Labels and Data Loss Prevention tools desirable
