The Role
This role represents an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with expert knowledge of all aspects of At Home Aged Care (AHAC) to join the team to assist with the development of processes, systems, and meet legislation requirements in a changing landscape.
As a Business Analyst, you will focus on the following areas:
- Provide advice and lead in the development and support the implementation of complex and specialised projects in conjunction with the Project Manager and other stakeholders, including:
- Key project deliverables
- Clearly identified milestones and KPIs
- Ensuring implementation of deliverables within agreed timeframes
- Reporting on related service area metrics and outcomes
- Make decisions on effective approaches to maintaining projects through the project control register, including all actions, issues, and risks.
- Ensure all projects adhere to agreed project methodology and compliance standards set.
- Provide project reports including regular status updates as agreed.
- Influence decision making through assisting in the preparation of business cases, cost-benefit analysis and broader business support services.
- Influence the development of system and process improvement solutions, including process mapping.
- Develop strong working relationships with government bodies, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
- Lead the implementation of new service models, including system and process changes.
- Coordinate and plan communication with external organisations as required, including audits, site visits and other correspondence.
- Coordinate and plan communication with internal staff and stakeholders around business processes (including AHAC and non-AHAC related issues) and other correspondence.
- Provide advice on continual improvement process and systems.
Your Profile
You are an immediately available Business Analyst with the following skills:
- Outstanding knowledge of the At Home Aged Care (AHAC), and the challenges services face, ability to research legislative changes and their impact on business.
- Excellent understanding of project lifecycle, research, business analysis, and quality assurance.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to facilitate workshops and elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis
- Extensive experience working directly with customers in a project setting, preferably in a human services area, and supporting staff in service improvement.
- Strong conceptual, strategic thinking and analytical skills with effective collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ability to understand user needs and focus on business outcomes and business value
- Highly developed time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage and motivate staff through significant change management.
Desirable skills
- Good working knowledge of other Government-funded programs, e.g. NDIS.
- Knowledge of electronic client management systems and interfaces with internal and external systems.
- Experience working with customers who have significant and diverse disabilities or age-related support needs.
- Knowledge of electronic client management systems such as Carelink+.
