We are on the hunt for an experienced Technical BA with Project Management experience who has a wealth of exposure in the world of SharePoint and large scale content Migration.Role Overview:
We are hunting for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst & Project Manager with expertise in SharePoint content migrations for companies ranging from 500 to 1000 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical acumen, business analysis skills, and project management experience to lead successful content migration initiatives in content-heavy environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SharePoint content migration projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current content structures, and define migration strategies that align with business objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing content repositories, identifying opportunities for optimization, consolidation, and enhancement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including migration plans, requirements specifications, risk assessments, and status reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless execution of migration activities.
- Implement best practices and methodologies for data cleansing, transformation, and validation during migration processes.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to leverage SharePoint functionalities effectively post-migration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Business analysis and project management roles.
- Proven expertise in SharePoint content migrations, with a focus on companies with 500 to 1000 employees and content-heavy environments.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, document management principles, and content governance best practices.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and adaptable approach to project delivery.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is a plus.
- Passionate about all things Business Analysis and content migration
- A people orientated technical BA who enjoys human interaction and working with senior stakeholders and leadership
- Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team as well as independently.
