Technical Business Analyst

Business Analysts at Novon are part of our Business Consulting team. Whilst assignments may differ, the core skills of Business Analysts across the Novon business are to provide a high level of analysis to our customer base. Our Business Consultant Practice follow the BABOK3 and have strong experience working across a variety of enterprise environments working on Agile projects
Novon consultants work as trusted advisers to our customers, understanding the pain point within our customers business, and taking them on a journey to success. Being part of the Novon team will involve you in working independently or within a team on our customers projects. These projects are completed as prescribed by the customer in remote, hybrid or onsite formats.

This is a specific Technical Business Analyst taking end-to-end ownership of your products in a modern DevOps culture. This role will involve articulating the requirements that drive the architecture, design, development, testing and operations and deliver incrementally in iterative cycles. Using your Agile mindset and keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies. As with any role it is expected the BA will manage deadlines, articulate technical problems and ideas, and help to build better processes and practices. This role is searching for a BA with a growth mindset with a passion for learning and ability to quickly pick up new technologies will be key to your success.

To be successful in your first assignment with Novon you must have the following skills.

• Work with business, technical and project stakeholders to map, analyse and translate business processes into technical and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate the creation of new future state, streamlined processes and user experience workflow design using the new technology capabilities
• Ensure compliance with work product and control standards and policies
• Incorporate multiple perspectives, including user experience, risk management, organisation change and ongoing operations
• Ideally leverage experience with Group Treasury capital management, regulatory reporting and big data (eg, SQL/DB query language and data design/visualisation)
• Grow your experience with simple Dataiku and Python to apply to data science workflows
• Live Agile values, principles and best delivery methods used to meet business outcomes
• Facilitate effective team ceremonies and workshops.
• Encourage experimentation to fuel innovation.
• Cultivate the growth mindset.
