About the role
Lead and manage the delivery of IM/ICT systems including development, maintenance, change and incident management, and governance for Health Information Technology-related program/project(s), including stakeholder management, delivery of Project outcomes and communications across complex and diverse clinical and non-clinical stakeholder groups.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements. Ability to apply information technology skills to solve technical, network and application problems. (SFIA Code: USUP 5; ARCH 5; METL 5).
- Ability to support the installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment, and test these products to ensure quality, within a large-scale IM/ICT organisation. (SFIA: HSIN Level 4)
- Ability to support the build, documentation and implementation of technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks for large scale complex organisations. (SFIA: DESN Level 5)
- High-level communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations, including proven ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with staff at all levels within and external to Queensland Health and with the public, both orally and in writing.
- A high level of technical expertise in the management, configuration, monitoring and design of medium to large enterprise ICT environments with knowledge and experience with LANs, WANs, Networking, Mobility and Cloud-based services, with the proven ability and technical skills to support ICT services to meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification in ICT or relevant industry experience will be highly regarded.
