The Technical Manager is entrusted with spearheading a team of experts dedicated to promptly resolving product issues, thus ensuring the utmost satisfaction of customers and fostering seamless communication between the dealership and Caterpillar.
This pivotal role involves not only optimising existing processes and systems but also nurturing the professional growth of team members. Moreover, the Technical Manager is tasked with proactively anticipating and addressing technical challenges, driving innovative solutions to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency within WesTrac.
Location: South Guildford, WA
Roster: Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days
To be successful the following is required:
- Qualifications in engineering or a trade certification related to heavy equipment repair
- Extensive dealership experience coupled with a proven track record in technical support roles
- Proven leadership capabilities with an aptitude for managing teams and driving change effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at cultivating productive relationships with various stakeholders
- Proficient problem-solving abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders and resolving complex issues
- Strong analytical prowess, capable of translating data into actionable insights
- Experience in project management, adept at aligning projects with organisational and customer needs
- Superb organisational skills, adept at handling varying workloads and conflicting priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with Equipment Management and CAT Technology is seen as highly advantageous, leveraging them to enhance customer outcomes
