To be successful in this position, applicants must have:
- Minimum cert III in a relevant mechanical trade. Cert IV applicants highly desirable.
- Collaborative and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and effectively self-allocate tasks to drive business outcomes.
- Experience designing machined and fabricated components.
- Competency in 3D modelling and drafting for manufacturing and production environments. Experience using Inventor and Autodesk vault is highly desirable.
- Manufacturing project management experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems. Experience using M1 is highly desirable.
- Quoting and cost estimating experience within a high mix manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
