We at Chandler Macleod are seeking a full-time, experienced, Technical Sales Manager to establish a sales plan to meet objectives within territory on a quarterly basis, creates basic weekly action plan to achieve sales quotas. You will contribute regional sales information and recommendations so these can be added to overall company strategic plans, resolving problems, identifies trends, reviews competitive products, participates in regional and national trade show events.
The successful candidate reports presently to the company President who is based on the United States.
Travel within territory comprises 30% or more of monthly duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate territory performance & identify and close target markets and new business opportunities.
- Develop & implement a territory sales plan.
- Manage national & regional accounts.
- Maintain customer database.
- Work closely with distribution partners.
- Participate in development of marketing materials and support of product promotion through advertising, trade shows and public relations.
- Provide product feedback, growth estimates, new product needs & recommendations to corporate R&D
- Manage Independent Sales Reps & Distributors
- Provide technical and other support.
- Shipping and order entry upon necessary
- Ability to work independently in a sales and technical capacity
- Sharp presentation skills with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to travel within territory extensively.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrate new business closing skills.
- Business-to-Business Sales
- Five or more years of sales experience in the security industry
- Technical solution-based selling along with management-level selling.
- Selling to end-user and or distribution marketplace
