What is the role, what will I be doing?
Based out of our Newcastle office, servicing the wider Hunter Valley region, and regional NSW, we are seeking a motivated Sales and Business Development Specialist to drive sales growth, and maximize profit potential, within strategically targeted business segments such as structural fabrication, heavy engineering/mining workshops or on-site infrastructure development.
Reporting to the Product and Sales Manager – End Markets, who is based in the Adelaide Head Office, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to convert end users to WIA products and services, while maintaining active representation throughout a predefined region.
Your role will be critical in achieving our company's sales and profit objectives while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with our end users.
Do you come from a Boilermaker/Welder trade background?
Maybe you possess post trade qualifications, such as a welding inspector?
Do you have a demonstrable understanding of welding processes and applications?
Maybe possess a solid understanding of the WIA product range?
Have you acquired field sales experience?
Have you dealt with welding product distribution network in your area?
Are you able to interpret customers' requirements to then align them with appropriate WIA products?
Can you initiate and complete sales transactions to benefit both the company and the customer, securing future commitments for WIA?
Are you capable of establishing and developing sustainable, long-term profitable business relationships?
Would you enjoy undertaking sales demonstrations, providing technical advice, and being involved in trade promotions?
Proficiency in utilising the Microsoft suite of products being highly valued.
