The Technical Services Lead establishes, manages and maintains IT Services for the business divisions and departments. This key role ensures that Technical Services to the business units and its customers are in accordance with defined service levels. The Technical Services Lead is responsible for prioritising demand to ensure IT Services meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management, provision, support and availability of the Healius technical enterprise and services.
- To provide ongoing inputs into service improvements
- To investigate and resolve a broad range of technical issues and incidents and determine the appropriate actions and resolutions.
- Manage assigned tasks and workload in accordance with technology service levels and KPI's to ensure 24/7 service availability
- Manage incident escalations, priorities and impacts to ensure speedy IT service restoration
- Explore alternative technology, processes and services to drive financial and operational efficiencies.
- HR Management of resources including performance reviews (e.g. MyPulse Check-ins), training, career development, time logging approvals and leave management.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and organisation information.
- Adhere to all processes and procedures relating to the workplace health and safety of self and others.
- Build a strong team culture of agility and efficiency and respect for one another
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Participate in meetings to represent work group perspective and share information
- Participate in discussions and decisions regarding implementation of innovation and technology improvements.
- Final decision point to resolve conflicts around technical approach to a given solution
Skills & Experience Required:
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, promoting skill development and career growth.
- Strong technical background with hands-on expertise.
- Ability to bridge the gap between IT and business needs.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations and support.
- Proven experience in IT management, 2+ years' experience managing a team.
