Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Technical Services Superintendent will be responsible for the development and support of geological and survey Technical Services.
About the Role:
- Leadership role with a focus on culture, development and continuous improvement of the geology, geotechnical and survey functions within the Technical Services department.
- High level of interaction with key stakeholders through the entire value chain
- Key accountabilities include but not limited to:
- Exploration planning and management.
- Operational and resource geology.
- Coal feed scheduling.
- Operational and geotechnical design/analysis.
- Operational and statuary surveying.
Roster and Location:
- Monday to Friday professional roster
- Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Possess tertiary education in a Mining Related degree or equivalent.
- Have 10 years' experience in a similar role in the mining industry.
- Developed leadership skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
- The ability to work both autonomously, part of a team, as well as leading a team.
