Technical Specialist

Concrite is actively recruiting a service orientated Technical Specialist to join our NSW/ACT team based at Sutherland officer. 

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and optimising the technical performance of our Concrete products. As an integral stakeholder, you will provide expert consultation to our customers and internal departments in line with compliance, quality and cost specifications. This is an exciting opportunity where you will contribute to Concrite’s sustainability initiatives and add value to a variety of infrastructure projects across Sydney. 

Your day will involve:

Reporting to the Technical Manager, your contributions will see that you gain full exposure to a range of responsibilities including:  

• Concrete mix design management 
• Support Concrite’s quality control system 
• Monitoring quality of concrete raw materials and reducing concrete mix costs 
• Active monitoring of test results for concrete products to ensure conformance to Australian Standards and specifications.  
• Assessing product’s field performance for suitability with customer requirements and applications 
• Reviewing technical content of project specifications within tenders and offering innovative product solutions 

What are we looking for? 

• Willingness to learn about concrete product specifications  
• Experience using quality control systems and/or computer systems 
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders 
• Customer centric work ethic and a solutions driven approach 
• Current Driver’s License and the flexibility to travel across Sydney
