Technical Support Specialist Ii

Nelnet International delivers education and commerce platforms in the education, government, and healthcare sectors. We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our FACTS School Management (FSM) Team.

The FSM Technical Support Specialist II is a junior to intermediate role that provides advanced Technical Support and follow-up on internal and external client questions, problems, or malfunctions of FSM systems and/or software.

This position also provides instruction and assistance to customers using more technical functions of the system and is responsible for application deployments.

• Review and action Level 3 support requests
• Review and action Crystal Report requests
• Monitor and manage hosted sites
• Deploy and maintain FSM software and databases
• Assist customers with installation and updates of on-premise installs
• Support customers transitioning from on-premise to hosted environments 
• Support level 4 minor to major incidents providing functional and technical expertise
• Support Quality team by assisting in replicating reported bugs

• Experience in a similar role

• Proficient in SQL Server and IIS
• Proficient in T-SQL and C#

• Recent Graduate with an IT background
• Experience in Crystal Reports
• Experience with Azure web hosting services
• Competent understanding of HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript
