The company is known for its leading functional design. They are now looking for a Technical Support Specialist to come in and support their creative minds.
Key Responsibilities
The purpose of the Technical Support Specialist is to step in and support the wider business with day-to-day Level 2 support. Our client’s business is going through a period of great growth. You’ll report into the head of IT and be the representative for IT within the business. Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Provide IT support services as necessary to all end-users at the business inc IT systems, applications or equipment, including:
- Level 2 support to all local and national employees (circa 100)
- Use and manage raised request delivering against agreed KPI’s
- End user Device Administration
- Provide in-person and remote – systems administration, installation, configuration, documentation and maintenance (including organising repairs where necessary) of:
- Desktop PCs
- Mobile Devices
- Printers/Multi-Function Devices
- Video and Audio-Conferencing Equipment
- Organise Quotes and complete Purchase Orders for IT equipment and/or services as requested
- Ensure all Software is licensed and tracked
- Ensure all Assets are tagged, recorded and tracked
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a Level 2 technical IT Support Specialist position providing telephone/remote support
- Proven experience of having attention to detail, time management and communication skills.
- Customer service excellence as embodied in all interactions.
- Ability to prioritise work and work on mission critical requests when under pressure.
- Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a team environment
- Working knowledge of, and experience in applying, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and concepts to the provision of IT Support.
- Experience using remote management tools.
- Experience supporting Mac OSX, Autodesk Revit, Adobe suite
- Clear communication skills, verbal and written; good listening skills
- Must be systematic/pragmatic, ability to get to the root causes of issues and escalate if needed.
- Create best practise documents with the Head of IT and maintain said documents.
