Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)
Roster: 8 days on; 6 days off / 7 days night; 7 days off

About the Role:
In the role 'Geology Technician - Mining' you will be responsible for working within a team of geologists and technicians to execute:
- Underground geological sampling:
- Wall channel chip sampling
- Face grab sampling
- Production ring grab sampling
- Associated data entry with all above
- Daily and EOM stockpile inspections
- Core metre marking, and orientation
- Core SG measurements and cutting
- Creating drill core laboratory dispatches
- Geotechnical data capture - RQD, Fracture Frequency,
- Geology stocktakes including core yard supplies and stores ordering.
- As needed support and execution for grade control project tasks working with the mine Geologists.
- Participation in department daily, weekly, safety meetings
- Assist with the development, implementation, and ongoing improvements of Mine Geology
You will have:
- Competent manual driving
- High-Risk Forklift licence ideal.
- Experience in an Underground Mining environment is preferable.
- Understanding of underground development process is preferable.
- Core yard Technician role drill core processing exposure is preferable.
- Ability to make confident and timely decisions when working under high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and drive safe practices.
- Ability to work
- Computer skills, including exposure to Microsoft office.
