We have an exciting opportunity in the Telecom Expense Management team for a Telecom Expense Management Analyst.
Reporting into Product Owner, TEMS you will be part of the team responsible for providing in depth analysis of telecom bills, inventory management, contract validation, telecom cost optimisations, assisting with forecasting and budgeting for Telecom expenses. Working closely with other telecom related product/service owners and internal NSW Health entities the TEM Analyst will engage in providing Telecom Expense Management services.
What you will do
As an integral member of the Telecom Expense Management team, you will:
- Monitor and analyse trends in voice and mobile usage and expenses providing advice and recommended changes to plans and other areas for possible saving and/or optimization, including metrics relevant to the successful functioning of mobile device services based on business strategy and growth projections.
- Develop monthly reports such as, spend, tracking new services, ceased service, savings from service disconnects and billing disputes.
- Provide specialised knowledge and input to corporate policies, regarding current and future usage of telecommunications technologies.
- Assist with the ongoing service management of the chosen TEM partner, enhancement of the chosen TEM’s tool and ensuring future eHealth NSW requirements of the TEMs tool are facilitated by the TEMs supplier.
About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
- Extensive experience with a Telecoms Expense Management System (TEMS) platform supporting adds, moves, changes, deletions of inventory items.
- Demonstrated experience in preparation of periodic reporting, and identifying cost saving opportunities in a large, complex and diverse ICT services organisation.
