AddressOur Client is a Leading Financial Institution, seeking a Finance Manager to join their Finance Services Team on an initial 6 month contract, offering a day rate up to $575 + super per day.
Position OverviewAs a Finance Manager working within the Finance Services team, you will assist in providing financial control and business partnering to the Technology Function. Within this team, responsibilities include providing finance, tax and system operation services for the group.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis and Advisory: Deliver effective business analysis and advice to the portfolio, programs, and other stakeholders in alignment with the Finance Control Framework.
- Commercial Insights: Generate commercial insights through the analytical review of data, business drivers, and performance metrics.
- Project Accounting: Manage month-end project accounting processes efficiently, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and finance policies.
- Project Monitoring: Oversee the Project/Program business case, encompassing project expenditures, ongoing operating expenses, and benefits timeline investment governance and assumptions.
To be successful in this position you will have experience with/in:
Excellent customer service experience
Thorough understanding of technical finance and accounting competencies
Banking and, or, Telco experience
- Large scale technology exposure
