Tasks & Responsibilities
- Supervise the activities and performance of the Nexus Centre throughout shifts, guaranteeing efficient service delivery across all aspects of the business.
- Monitor resources and demand, proactively identifying, managing, and escalating potential challenges or risks before they escalate into issues.
- Lead and develop a team of Nexus Centre Officers, fostering individual growth and skill development as needed.
- Maintain adequate coverage of Nexus Centre Officers on a daily basis, including fulfilling Wellness Centre Officer duties during leave or absenteeism as necessary.
- Promptly escalate critical issues to the Line Manager while identifying and mitigating risks to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure team compliance with all service level requirements, consistently meeting and exceeding established standards.
- Continuously assess and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and technology to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, ensuring all interactions meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Exhibit excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively address challenges and find optimal solutions.
- Utilize highly developed negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes in various situations.
- Communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels, maintaining clarity and professionalism in all communications.
- Possess advanced computer/system skills to proficiently navigate and utilize relevant software and tools.
- Display excellent time management skills, effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines consistently.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, fostering positive relationships and effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage previous experience in customer service-based roles to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in the Transport, Logistics, and Supply Chain industry, demonstrating familiarity with industry-specific practices and challenges.
