Required experience, skills and competencies:
- 3+ years experience as a Telecommunications Rigger working on mobile base station technologies is essential.
- Basic rigging qualification required
- Working at Heights certification
- Tower rescue certification
- RF awareness certification
Role responsibilities & required experience:
- Installing, testing and maintaining all types of telecommunications vendor equipment (e.g. Nokia and Ericsson equipment)
- Installing, commissioning and troubleshooting microwave radio equipment
- Installation and testing of antenna / feeder line systems
- Installing steel work at height
- Climbing and working at heights safely
- Understanding of site drawings
- Fault finding comprehension and resolution
- Ability to work with cranes and EWPs
- Maintaining and adhering to all policies, procedures and appropriate documentation
