INCLUSIVE EDUCATION TEACHER
The Inclusion Education teacher will support identified students to access the curriculum through differentiation. The person appointed must have a high knowledge of students with additional needs including disability and trauma, Speech and Language and EAL students as well as high behaviour management skills and knowledge of Australian Curriculum and SACE.
Key outcomes:
*The applicant will model, promote and foster a culture of inclusion and welcome students with additional needs and diverse backgrounds
- The applicant will contribute to the development of One Child One Plans (OCOP) and NCCD data collection processes to develop relevant SMARTAR goals alongside classroom teachers to support required adjustments and individual progress
- Students will experience success through intentional, targeted, and evidence-based intervention and support approaches
- The applicant will collaborate with teachers to resource and differentiate learning tasks (including opportunities for intervention and intellectual stretch)
- The applicant will work in partnership with the Personalised Learning Leader, teaching staff and Curriculum SSOs to undertake co-planning to ensure close alignment to the classroom program.
