Our Client, Coast2Bay Housing Group is a dynamic award-winning community housing provider managing over 1000 community and affordable housing tenancies across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions with offices located in Maroochydore, Nambour and Caboolture. This role will work across both regions, but with be predominantly based out of the Maroochydore office.
The role of the Tenancy Manager is to work collaboratively with the Asset Management and Client Services and Administration Teams to efficiently manage a portfolio providing excellent service that ensures a positive tenant experience including connecting tenants with communities and facilitating support as required to maintain their tenancies.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Assisting clients achieve their housing needs in accordance with RTRAA 2008, government and C2B policies;
- Housing and administering clients in appropriate accommodation and achieving a high level of client satisfaction;
- Early identification of stressors and provision of timely responses to assist tenants to sustain their tenancies;
- Managing the tenancies in a cost-effective manner to achieve long term value to the tenants, lessors and C2B;
- Maintain regular contact with tenants and support services to ensure tenancies are sustained;
- Resolving issues and concerns raised by tenants with respect and consideration;
- Administration of housing management systems;
- Contributing to service planning and development;
- Liaising with support agencies, government and non-government agencies on tenancy matters, and
- Working with the C2B Team in a coordinated and cooperative manner.
- A Tertiary Qualification is desirable or substantial industry experience.
- A minimum 3 years’ experience working in tenancy/social housing or other human services or property management related field.
- Case Management experience is desirable.
- High level conflict management and dispute resolution skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
- A demonstrated commitment to work within a person-centred social justice framework.
The successful candidate will have a current Queensland Drivers Licence and be available to work from all Coast2Bay Offices as required.
