Our client is a highly successful, innovative service and asset operator using their extensive expertise in contract management, systems, infrastructure, finance, WH&S, and risk management. An opportunity has arisen for a competent Tenant and Leasing Officer (Maternity Cover) to join their team to provide assistance in relation to the property and retail services for the railway station asset class of the company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this position is to manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships relating to lease and management of facilities.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing oversight of lease and retail management tasks.
- Effectively managing customer relationships to ensure regularity of quality communications and contact with retailers.
- Managing and conducting lease/property inspections to oversee presentation, safety standard compliance and maintenance of property assets.
- Assisting with negotiation of property related contract and lease negotiations.
- Acting as a point of contact for tenants, internal and external stakeholders relating to lease and property management of owned assets.
- Manage the process of reviewing all retail contractor documentation and ensure inductions maintain quality and standards in line with site safety requirements.
- Work with the Legal department to draft and review legal letters and documentations, including but not limited to HOA, DS, and vacate letters.
ABOUT YOU
- Qualification in property or facilities management.
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial property management role, including a solid understanding of commercial leasing practices, legislation, procedures, and terminology.
- Sound knowledge of project coordination, budget management, contract negotiation and administrative fundamentals.
- Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities and developments.
- Well-developed people management skills with the ability to build and foster key relationships.
- Ability to work independently or collaborate in a team environment.
