We have a challenging and rewarding Territory Manager opportunity, that will appeal to an ambitious, dynamic, and strategic sales professional.
This is a permanent full-time home-office based position covering the VIC/TAS region (Tasmania quarterly visits) with required attendance for meeting in our Clayton Head Office as required.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Promote and drive sales to maximise sales opportunities of Bosch Automotive parts, equipment, and workshop services to 1st trade level via personal representation at Bosch distributors and branches, both trade and retail based on a regular call cycle.
- Representing a range of high-quality automotive parts and services, you will be responsible for managing the VIC/TAS region (Metro & Regional) and effectively "on-the-road" for 80% of your work time.
- Visiting head offices and branches of clients to bring awareness of products and drive sales
- Supporting national key account activities to ensure your sales objectives are met
- Providing detailed sales reports in line with your strategy and goals
- Learning and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the parts and service aspects of the business, so that your customers come to view you as an expert
- Developing and implementing business development and account management strategies to ensure your sales objectives are met
- Attending and participating in various trade shows as required with overnight stays.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dynamic, conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
To be considered for this position ideally you meet the following criteria:
- Have proven significant experience in both existing account management and new business sales
- Demonstrate self-motivation, results-driven mindset, a strong work ethic, and excellent English verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a quick learning attitude, showcasing enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge, especially if you're new to the automotive industry.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset in how you approach your work - but at the same time can work within tight parameters, processes and rules as required in a major international business
- Exhibit strong organisational skills, effective time management, and proficiency in utilising CRM tools.
- Prioritizing tasks based on division objectives and optimizing time investment will be your forte.
