About the Opportunity
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified sales professionalsto fill the role of Territory Sales Manager- QLD & NT. Reporting to the Regional Manager QLD, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing revenue from sales of our products such as Outboards, Mercruiser, inflatables as well as parts & accessories in QLD through a base of reseller partners such as a dedicated dealer network, OEMs and commercial partners.

- exceptional sales skills and experience
- ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines.
Duties of the role include but not limited to:
Attainment of budgets and objectives set by management in Outboard sales & market share, Mercruiser sales and total dollar sales for region.
Maintaining and developing a comprehensive dealer network across QLD strategic to the organization’s needs and future.
Preparing the Annual Regional Initiatives Plan (based upon company strategic objectives and annual initiatives) in conjunction with Regional Manager QLD.
Liaising dealers and clients to acquire new business or develop existing business or accounts
Conducting regular dealer visits and assisting dealers with business development.
Supporting partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets.
Attending field days, dealer open days, boat shows and other promotional events as necessary.
Developing strategic regional plans to promote the Mercury product family, including OEM partnerships etc.
Assisting with boating events and boat show planning and development.
Key selection criteria:
- Have a diploma or tertiary qualification in Marketing / Commerce / Business
- Experience in the Marine, Automotive or Diesel Industry including exposure to a Dealer network / Franchise management
- Knowledge and use of CRM software
- Sales Management Experience
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability in decision making and in evaluating the impact of change at a detailed level
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Boat Operators licence
- Ability to travel locally, interstate and internationally for extended periods of time.
