The position
This position is a prized role within the organisation being apart of the Sales team. You'll be focussed on building new revenue, managing new accounts, and strengthening relationships for sales.
As a longstanding pioneer they have a large enviable client base across the country from our most popular areas through to our most niche markets and are looking to increase and strengthen that year on year.
Your role will be dealing across a variety of industry verticals and managing relationships with key customers. Below are the main duties for the role:
Representing a full suite of freight & logistics offerings
Solution style selling end to end freight management
Specialty in national freight via interstate, parcel, package, satchel, cartons, pallets etc.
Showcasing cutting edge IT software and platforms offering the best freight technology
Developing new business and new clients
Client and relationship management
Monthly pipeline development and forecasting
Looking for opportunities to increase spend within accounts
Up-selling & cross selling all transport solutions
A flexible hybrid mix spending days externally and some in the office

$75K - $90K base neg. + $17.5k car allowance $$ + comms
Uncapped Commission - paid large % of GP monthly

The experience necessary
To be suitable for this role, it is imperative that you are coming from the freight, logistics and transport space (interstate, local or courier ideally). If you are coming from outside the industry we may be open to a SaaS or Software Solutions sales background.
Your experience will be from a sales & relationship management background where you are responsible for selling solutions through new business development, client retention, monthly pipeline & client acquisition.
Experience from transport, freight & logistics
Strong B2B and commercial solutions experience
Ideally experience within domestic transport interstate, local, courier
A track record of sales, business development & client retention
Genuine self drive, determination & motivation to succeed
Experience dealing with a variety of decision makers and markets
Transport experience could come from interstate freight, courier, point to point, contract logistics, freight forwarding or any related space
This is an Adelaide based role and you need full Australian working rights.
