We have exciting opportunities for an outgoingSOUS CHEFto join our kitchen team in one of Melbourne's favourite cafes with a focus on fun and modern produce-driven food.
This is a full time or casual position, available on weekends is a must.
Immediate start available.
4 DAY WORKing week and flexible rosters.
Hourly Rate or Salary based on position.
General Responsibilities:
- Food preparation in line with recipe instructions.
- Assist in creating and developing new and innovative menu ideas and procedures in the kitchen.
- Adhere to personal presentation and uniform cleanliness standards.
- Managing stock ordering and prep levels.
- Maintaining HACCP standards and food safety protocols in the venue.
- Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Minimising losses spoilage or wastage.
- Receive deliveries and check off as required.
