Summary
As the StrategicBusiness Capabilities Manager, you will drive articulation of our long-term Business Capabilities and plans to enact the enterprise strategy. This role is instrumental in defining, assessing and planning future capability requirements across multiple domains and will provide expert guidance on future operating models.

The Role & The Team
You will be required to (but not limited to)
- Lead the development and setting of our long-term strategic objectives, capability plans and target outcomes
- Establish the strategic planning rhythm, supporting methodology/tools, facilitate the planning process and Continuous improvement
- Guide and support all functions across the value chain in ensuring that functional strategies and business plans are aligned with Enterprise Strategy and Capability
- Communicate and maintain a compelling strategic narrative to guide business planning and decision making
- Optimise Enterprise strategy to drive business performance and make recommendations on optimising investment levers
- Guide and support the development of Target Operating Model in line Airservices enterprise strategy
- Maintain forward horizon macro investment forecasts aligned with Airservices Line of Business Service Strategies

The Person
The successful applicant will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Strategic Planning, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in leading strategy in large, complex organisations, including facilitating strategic planning with Senior Leadership
- Highly developed skills in framing and solving strategic problems including the ability to synthesise and communicate insights from complex information/analysis
- Proven track record in driving enterprise strategy and translating the strategy into actionable roadmaps/plans
- Reasonable knowledge of emerging technologies, industry macro trends, and best practices related to strategic capability shifts.
- Deep experience and knowledge/thought leadership in strategy and working knowledge in investment planning methodology and tools
- Proven experience in managing risk and developing contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges
- Proven leadership capabilities in developing, coaching and coordinating high-performing cross-functional teams
