QMF develops and delivers Qld Music Trails (QMT), an iconic world-first tourism product that puts music and community at the heart of the visitor experience. Through QMT, we are charged with creating measurable social, cultural, and economic value for Queensland’s leading visitor destinations.
About the Opportunity
You will play a key role in providing support, and at times leading the management and delivery of Ticketing/Box office operations associated with the Qld Music Trails program.
The Ticketing Coordinator role includes managing day to day reporting to internal and external stakeholders, pre-event and post event reporting, building ticketed events, executing accreditation, managing teams on ground at events and upholding effective communication practices with Qld Music Trail customers. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- managing day-to-day pre-event/post-event reporting;
- assisting in developing event builds;
- managing Front of House ticketing (Box office, customer support, gate and volunteer teams) at events;
- preparation of box office settlements;
- assisting in executing ‘Surprise and Delight’ customer moments;
- exceptional customer service to patrons and QMF VIP’s; and
- coordinate and oversee the contract and key relationship with QMF’s ticketing provider/s.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or a minimum of two (2) years equivalent of experience in events management, and outdoor festival production.
- Strong understanding of Ticketing practices and solutions.
- Exceptional relationship skills to partner and collaborate.
- Energetic self-starter with exceptional customer service even in high pressured and fast paced environments.
- Proficiency in digital literacy including common software tools (Microsoft suite, square terminals) and Ticketing/Box Office/ Scanning solutions.
- Ability to travel regularly within remote and regional Queensland; including working work evenings, weekends and/or public holidays as determined by Qld Music Trail calendar of events.
- Blue Card desirable.
