SalaryReporting to the Workshop Supervisor, Liebherr-Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Trades Assistant to assist with branch and site-based tooling and parts requirements in support of workshop projects, planned shutdowns and new machine assemblies. This is an exciting, dynamic role that requires attention to detail, adaptability and desire for development and progression within the Service Team
Duties
- Provide key understanding and support to the Project Managers when collating and organising tooling requirements to support shutdowns and new machine assemblies
- Conduct regular tooling audits and actively participate in strategy to support mitigation of lost / theft tooling
- Participate in asset discussion and strategy to support our NSW Mining Customer base growth with regard to tooling hire
- Operate Plant and Equipment on an as-needed basis (EWP, Forklift etc)
- Fulfil obligations to the Chain of Responsibility of core return items dispatched on Liebherr managed projects
- Basic Administration duties
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical driven tooling and associated compliance requirements
- Sound computer skills
- High Risk Work License (LF, DG, EWP) - Desirable
- Strong focus on progression within the team
