Trades Assistant
Join our team as a Trades Assistant, where you'll be involved in the development and construction of control panels in a repeat production setting.
Position Summary:
- Electrical TA works.
- Mechanicals assembly.
- Assisting in stores.
- Packing and wrapping of panels for shipment.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Manufacturing Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Construct electrical/electronic control panels to specifications within designated timeframes.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Assist in design and production of custom components.
Inspect and test panels for faults, correcting, as necessary.
Complete documentation and archiving tasks.
Participate in training modules and contribute to generating quotes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Prior experience in production or relevant trade backgrounds.
Basic computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
