SalaryHitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) ( ) is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.HCA is currently seeking a Trades Assistant / Yards Person to assist Fitters in the day to day running of the Muswellbrook Reman Facility.Reporting to the Reman Centre Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Assist in store control involving receiving and dispatch of Reman items
- Cleaning and repairing of Reman components as per procedures
- Disassembling components in line with procedures when required
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspections and packaging units ready for dispatch
- Forklift operating
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- You must have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes
- You must be mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
- Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipment
- Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
- Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required
- Forklift License and Spray painting experience will be advantageous
