What you’ll do
- Analysis, design, and development of business-critical Trading Systems.
- Taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
- Optimise systems to improve performance and latency.
- Collaborate with Technologists, Traders, and Quantitative Analysts to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Continuously improve the capability and reliability of the systems, using technology, automation, and optimisation.
- Be committed to innovation with a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies.
- Meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
- A track record / knowledge / interest in trading, risk, quantitative or Trading Systems development is critical.
- Exceptional C# development skills with extensive knowledge of design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, and performance focused on back-end development.
- Solid experience in C++ on Windows or Linux would be beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of the full software development life cycle. Ideally with solid experience in an agile environment.
- A knowledge of, or experience in trading, derivatives, risk, pricing and Greeks will be highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quantitative analysts, and other software developers.
