This is a full time, permanent opportunity with flexible work options.In this important role, you will join a team that is at the heart of what makes Barbeques Galore unique: our products. As part of the Buying team, you will be involved in the journey of our products, from conception to sales floor. You'll make a real impact on the shopping experience of our customers, helping us continue to offer great quality, well designed products that are built to last.As a Trainee Buyer, you'll:
- Assist the Category Buying Manager in end-to-end buying processes, learning how to negotiate and build product ranges
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Maintain confidential product and supplier records in our ERP system
- Previous experience in a retail or sales environment preferred.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
