About the Opportunity
In your role as a Custodial Officer, you will be responsible for the management, supervision, care, rehabilitation, reintegration, and provision of services to inmates. A key component of the role will be to actively participate in supporting inmates throughout their sentence whilst monitoring and maintaining the security of the Centre.
Located approximately 55km east of Perth (Western Australia), Acacia Prison is a medium security facility operated by Serco. At Acacia we are responsible for the management of 1470 male prisoners, Serco takes pride in facilitating great prisoner rehabilitation programs, its safety record, service delivery to our customers and its pro-social learning environment.

You are motivated, engaging, energetic, self-disciplined and possess a high level of integrity. You are dedicated to delivering consistency in all that you do, always interacting with colleagues and prisoners with courtesy and respect. You are a team player and a professional person who demonstrates a high level of moral values, interpersonal and influencing skills. You have resilience, an eye for detail and the ability to think on your feet.
