Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek, is a beautiful 126-place service where you’ll find a warm and nurturing learning environment and inspiring learning opportunities for children aged six weeks to six years. Our purpose-built facilities are filled with educational play space and Educators who are dedicated to encouraging your children to grow.

Our Hive is looking for a dedicated and passionate candidate who is looking to begin their journey in the Early Childhood Education Industry as a Trainee Educator. Essential Qualifications

  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.

  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.

  • Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.

  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.

  • Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.

  • Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.

  • Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.

  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.

  • Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
