SalaryThe Package: $820.60 - $1,206.09 gross per week + 11% super. (Evaluated as Trainee Grade 4 - 10 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) and guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full-time - 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply.
Are you interested in kickstarting an exciting career in Human Resources management? QPRC is currently recruiting for our Trainee, Human Resources position where you will undertake a Certificate IV in Human Resourceswith 100% of course fees paid for by Council whilst gaining valuable industry knowledge.
In this role you will:
- Work across various teams within the Workplace and Performance branch, including recruitment, work health & safety, payroll and learning and development.
- Assist with the timely and accurate administration of employee data.
- Ensure general enquiries are forwarded and/or resolved promptly.
- Maintain Council’s Human Resource Management information system.
- Assist in delivering strategic projects across employee engagement, talent attraction, employee development and wellbeing programs and safety initiatives.
We are looking for someone who:
- Capacity to enrol in and complete a Certificate IV in Human Resource Management.
- Can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Has a self-starter aptitude with an interest in learning about the industry.
- Possesses exceptional communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Has a current class C drivers licence.
