Tronox is a fully integrated titanium minerals producer and pigment manufacturer. Across our Australian operations, we extract and process mineral sands into a range of valuable products, including ilmenite, zircon, rutile, and titanium dioxide pigment, which are then exported to international markets.
The Role
This role will be located at the Broken Hill processing plant. The position will be a 2-year traineeship starting Monday to Friday 8 hour days only while training and progressing to a 12-hour, 7 day - 7 off - 7 nights - 7 off roster.
The position is responsible to

• Operate plant & equipment.
• Identify issues within the plant
• Enter data accurately and promptly into the Control Room system.
• Responsible for collection and delivery of samples for laboratory analysis
• Assist team members with tasks.
• Ensure all shift handover requirements are well detailed easy to understand and ensure continuity of plant/process performance is maintained.

Skills and experience required:

• This position requires you to have a positive attitude, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, enjoy hands-on learning.
• Completion of Secondary Schooling to a Year 12 level.
• A willingness to work as part of a team and have exceptional communication skills.
• Motivated to pursue a career in the mining industry.
• Excellent safety culture
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening tests.
• Current C class driver's licence and own transport
