This exciting new role will effectively arrange and manage daily operations including all transport coordination and associated operations. This primarily involves the supervision and coordination of employees and sub-contractors so that all resources are employed efficiently and that all activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.Culture and Benefits

- Organise and coordinate daily (planned and urgent) activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with customer requirements, procedures and relevant legislation
- Compliance to, and enforcement of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Supervise and plan employee schedules to ensure efficient loading, unloading and processing of freight
- Monitoring of staff hours to ensure compliance with fatigue management and safety legislation as well as company policy
- Liaise with customers, operational staff, administration staff and other stakeholders to ensure day to day operations run smoothly
- Monitor and report to management on various KPI's
- Current “C” Class Drivers Licence
- No previous transport experience needed
- Highly developed organisational, planning and computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
